For more than 15 years Steve Kanzer has served as the CEO and chairman of Accredited Ventures, Inc., in New York City. Prior to this role, he was the principal executive of Adeona Pharmaceuticals in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before embarking upon his professional career, Steve Kanzer earned his juris doctor from the New York University School of Law.
In early November, the NYU School of Law announced that the school had been awarded a sizable grant donation from the Japanese government. In total, Japan will give the school $5 million that will serve as an endowment fund for the U.S.-Asia Law Institute (USALI) which will provide a secure financial backbone for the program. USALI is designed to educate students about international law in Asia to better help them handle disputes in those regions. USALI is also a leading voice in the fight for human rights and establishment of lawful governments in Asia and makes the NYU School of Law one of the foremost institutions for Asian law study in the United States.
